HOW THE PROGRAM WORKS:

•  Each module in the four-part series provides a thorough introduction to the mindfulness practice.
•  The modules can be taken individually.
•  The program is open to both new and experienced mindfulness meditation practitioners.

WHY MINDFULNESS MEDITATION MATTERS

Mindfulness is a powerful practice. Scheduling it into our everyday lives cultivates focus and self-discovery.

Mindfulness meditation can help us:

  • Reduce stress and anxiety
  • Stabilize and strengthen our minds
  • Develop clarity and insight
  • Feel more presence and joy in everyday life
  • Engage the challenges we face with dignity and confidence

The practice isn’t always easy, especially in the beginning. Dharma Moon’s unique approach does not emphasize superficial tranquility or trance states. Mindfulness is a practice that can help us awaken rather than put us to sleep. Having said that, it can also help us get a good night’s sleep too!

We will challenge you to establish a sustainable meditation practice, shift old habits and open to new possibilities.

WHAT OUR STUDENTS ARE SAYING:

"Taking this course has allowed me to realize perhaps one of the best gifts I’m able to give myself. After taking up a daily practice and working on the skills presented in the course, I’m finally making a habit of being gentle with myself. I can remind myself that it’s okay to be teammates with that part of me that, previously, I tried to push aside or ignore.

I’m finding that more often than not, I’m also able to extend that gentleness and kindness to others and it’s becoming second nature. I very much recommend the foundations course to anyone looking for a bit more lightness in their lives."

WHAT OUR STUDENTS ARE SAYING:

"This foundations course was great! I heard David say on a podcast once that there are so many intro to meditation classes out there and it can end up feeling like a lot of “first dates.” This foundations class definitely strengthened my relationship to my meditation practice, made me feel more confident in my posture and technique, and deepened my base of knowledge to draw from.

The support of the online curriculum and community, as well as our humorous, honest, and grounded classes/group helped me stick with my daily practice. I would definitely recommend this course to anyone who is wanting to build their personal practice or dip a toe into the idea of attending a teacher training."

- Sarah Lavelle (she/they) - Foundations of Mindfulness Participant
